This theater was inaugurated in 1936, and is located right opposite the Gran Rex, sharing with it the highest audience records. It offers famous music comedies, especially important shows and concerts featuring the most popular musicians in the genre, both local and international.
It has a dome that simulates a sky crowded with stars, which may be thought to represent the artists and productions that have been on stage: among them Edith Piaff, the ”Folies Bergère”, Ava Gardner, the Parisian “Lido”, and Josephine Baker.
Whenever you plan to attend a performance here, it is highly recommended that you do it in advance, either at the theater or by calling or logging on to Ticketek, as tickets are usually sold out in very short time on account of the importance of the events.
