It is located in the upper floors of the Don Pedro de Mendoza school, in the premises Quinquela Martin donated. The museum has an art collection of many oil paintings by the painter and also by other national artists of figurative art chosen by Quinquela Martin himself, as the works by Spilimbergo, Victorica, Lacámera, Sívori and Policastro, among many others. It has twelve rooms for displays. In one of said rooms, there are big figureheads made by the artist. It has a big terrace in which there are many sculptures and there is an atelier in the upper floor and the house in which the artist used to live. The sights from the Riachuelo that gave the artist the opportunity of seeing the changes of its tides and the departures and arrivals of ships in the harbour. His little room is still there, furnished in the same way as when he lived there, with his personal items and the little decoration that show his humble way of living. There are also objects, pictures and testimonies that allow to reconstruct a great part of his life.
