The School of Law and Social Sciences of Buenos Aires University was founded in 1821, and has had the current venue since 1949. It is an imposing Doric building with a classicist structure that denotes solidity and power, and stands in this privileged spot.
The architects in charge of it were Arturo Ochoa, Ismael Chiapore and Pedro Vivent.
Apart from the academic activities is carries out, it has a great flow of cultural activities, such as exhibitions, conferences and concerts.
It has been the place of graduation of many important intellectuals and politicians of the country.
