Address: Jorge Luis Borges y Honduras s/n – Palermo
This is the core of “Palermo Soho”, as it is referred to nowadays for the high number of hand-crafters and artists that converge, especially every weekend, to display their art works. Known as “La Placita” (little square) by the neighbors, it is also a cultural center, sheltering fashion companies of Argentinian designers that mark the latest tendency. It constitutes an attractive mixture of bohemia and modernity; it is nice to go shopping or for a walk, or experience the attractive proposals of the peculiar bars and restaurants around it, and become part of the scene.
It was “Plaza Serrano” for many years (still called the same way), and adopted the name “Plaza Cortazar” in 1994, on the tenth anniversary of that writer’s death.
