Address: Almirante Brown 401 – La Boca
This was Admiral Brown’s house, an Irish sailor, who was the creator of the first Argentinian naval fleet. The house is a replica of the original one in which its high staircase is the main character. The steps used to function, as well, as a protection from the regular floodings this district underwent.
Almirante Brown is the name of the avenue in which it is found, and it is a tribute to the “Father of Navy Military”. The first theatres in this neighbourhood, that where dedicated to Italian Operas, found their place in this famous avenue. The Historical Institute of Naval Studies functions here nowadays.
Currently, this place is displayed adjacently to the Boca Juniors soccer Stadium and it is here where the players train every day.
