This mural, opposite to Parque Lezama, is found on the facade of an old tenement that only had the front, the balconies, some wooden and metal pieces left.
It was restored due to a initiative carried out by several artists and sculptors who belonged to a group known as ‘Galpón Catalina’. The transformation and restoration of this old building gave as a result a representation of the characters and typical life from this famous neighbourhood called ‘La Boca’.
The Italian immigrant, the working man, the fireman and the prostitute (among several other typical characters) remain alive through this representative mural together with other and great Argentinian symbols. Soccer with Maradona, tango with Gardel and Troilo, and the famous painting with Benito Quinquela Martín.
