A scenic route that will take you, bordering the Malleo River up to the border with Chile, in Mamuil Malal crossing.
It is a beautiful journey.
Leaving Junín de los Andes on Prov. Route 23, towards the north, drive for 22 km, cross the Malleo River and turn left, taking Prov. Route 60 for 45 km up to Mamuil Malal international crossing.
Keep in mind that there are no services all over the area, so you have to carry some food and beverages.
On your way you can stop and visit the Atreuco and Chiquilihuin Indian Reservations.
