Description
It is a typical big old house which dates from 1867, located at city’s historic core. El Querandí Bar was inaugurated in 1920.
In 1992, it underwent a restoration process under the supervision of the Historical Patrimony Directorate and, ever since, has received several distinct awards:
“Alive Testimony of the citizen memory” by the Museum of the City of Buenos Aires, “Tourist Interest Site” by the State Department of Tourism, “Notable Bar” by the Undersecretary’s office of Culture of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, ‘Notable Bar’ by the Department of Culture of the city.
It has an atmosphere designed for intimacy, boisserie and turned wood, columns in the style of Salomon, warm and professional service, everything here is meant to create a sense of deep romanticism.
The tango show has excellent artistic quality and much authenticity. When wanting to enjoy both the dinner and the show, the departure from the hotel is due between 7:30 or 8 pm and the show ends at midnight.
