 This contest, previous to the Tango Dance World Cup, includes the las categories tango and milonga, and it is held in the city of Buenos Aires. The couples go through several stages until they get to the playoffs. After taht, the winning couples take part in the final. The best three couples chosen by the jury then participate in Tango Dance World Cup, that begins not a long while after the end of this competition.
