Rafting through the Inferior Manso River

An ideal excursion for those who wish an initiation in this exciting activity. Surrounded by a paradisiacal landscape, in the middle of one of the most beautiful valleys of the Andes mountain range.

Leaving the hotel during morning, heading to the south of the National Park, crossing the first section of the route leading to El Bolsón. Passing nearby the lakes Gutiérrez, Mascardi and Guillelmo until arriving at the opening of the Steffen lake, where the Manso river continues its route, departure point of adventure.

In this section, between the Lake Steffen and the sawmill Villegas, the river present parts of calm descents, allowing the sighting of a vast amount of birds and enjoying the particular landscape of the valdiviana forest that predominates in the region: an elevated forest formed by colihues, cypresses and larches and a thick cane of underbrush colihues.

In a place bordering the river a quick lunch is offered, consisting in cold food, since it is prohibited to ignite fire in the zone.

Soon the passage continues until the confluence with the Villegas river, where the waters are accelerated and the expresses that will make raise the adrenalin of the group make their appearance.

Soon, two kilometers of rather more calm waters will take you until the conclusion of this exciting adventure. And to regain strength , a snack before returning to the city.

Note :

It is a complete day excursion, leaving at 10 AM. and returning at 6.30 PM.
It takes place only during the season, from October to March.
It is included: neoprene suits, life jacket, helmet, lunch and snack.
This excursion is apt for beginners.
